The Best Drink and Food Pairings

Here at Sundrye, we offer three delicious signature drinks. There is no doubt that these can be enjoyed with any of our menu items or stand by themselves, but we are here to give you suggestions about which food items will pair best with the three drinks.

Starting off strong with our best seller, the Blackberry Mint Lemonade Mocktail. This drink is a very refreshing taste that helps soothe the palate after a particularly spicy bite. For this reason, we highly recommend enjoying this drink with our heavily seasoned Gumbo from our creole-Cajian menu, our Chile Relleno on our Mexican menu, or our Homemade Lasagna.

Our next featured drink is a Pineapple Sweet Tea Punch. The tropical taste of this beverage makes it a good pairing for dishes that are meat or seafood heavy such as our Pot Jambalaya, Chicken Fried Steak, and our Street Tacos.

Last but certainly not least on this list is our Ginger Orange Mocktail. The orange in this drink brings a unique citrus and natural sweetness to foods that include a bread with its own unique sweetness. Foods on our menu that fit this category would be the Po Boys Sandwich, Chicken Pot Pie, and Potosinas.
