Not just a Chicken Pot Pie

Hey everyone! As we get closer to opening I thought it would be a good time to share one of my favorite meals on our menu from the American Meals section!

So, a little backstory, I grew up as the oldest of 4 kids. I have three younger brothers which made it chaotic in our house. There was almost always something going on, a lot of loud noisy days, and as you can imagine, a lot of arguing over almost anything. Dinner was almost always something that sparked a heated conversation when we got the opportunity to choose what would be on the table that night. We would go in circles and circles going back and forth between different options that we each wanted, but we could never agree on one meal. That is except for one. The chicken pot pie was something we could always agree on. Although a simple meal the flavors were all something that made us all happy and we would run to the kitchen to try to get the first piece. A simple meal consisting of chicken and vegetables in a creamy mixture encased in a pie shell brought more than a few happy evenings and is something I think my brothers and I will always share a love for!

This meal reminds me of my family on the days I really miss home and is sure to put a smile on your face!
